This was my wife, daughter and I first visit to the Resturant with my son and his fiancé. I ordered the Steak Alfredo (Filet mignon) which was cooked perfectly medium. To top it off, we finished the meal with their popular Apple Pie that was out of this world! The customer service was awesome also!

I do not remember our server's name but she was great. I loved the location, plenty of parking, and the staff was very kind. We had crab cakes to start since that's one of our favorites, and they did not disappoint. My wife ordered the lobster roll and I had the Salmon New Orleans. The food, service, and atmosphere were great. I saw several items on the menu that I want to try so I will definitely return.

Nice and clean and looking forward to some delish seafood! Met a gf for dinner at this clean comfortable restaurant. Got there in time to enjoy a red sangria and the elote corn fritters from the happy hour menu. The sangria was a nice size and super tasty. The corn elites come two to an order. They were fresh and covered in a delish mix of corn, cream, lime and spices. For dinner we ordered the shrimp and grits with grilled shrimp (instead of blackened) and the fish tacos. The shrimp and grits came with 8 nice size shrimp and creamy cheesy grits with onions, peppers, cilantro and an amazing tomato/bacon jam. The fish tacos were loaded with large chunks of walleye, pico, shredded cabbage and sauces. Very pleased with all of the food and drink! Def recommend!

Love this place for a great dinner with family. My mom and I split the shrimp boil and we always have leftovers. It's a great deal! Great weekly/summer specials too!

I tried the PEANUT BUTTER JALAPEÑO SMASH BURGER. It's under the handhelds and was a juicy patty, American cheese, triple berry aioli, peanut butter, and candied jalapeños. I upgraded to the Cajun French fries that were served with a remoulade dipping sauce. They were crispy and I loved the sauce. This was a perfect early dinner for me prior to heading off to the airport.

Mallards has a Home Goods sea side decor vibe to it. They have good food and great service. My wife and I went there for dinner because we live in the area and had not eaten there before. Our server was nice and we were checked in on multiple times during our dinner. I ordered the fish and chips and she ordered the pesto pasta. Fish and chips were good. Homemade tartar sauce is delish. Pesto pasta was good but we felt it was overpriced. We also ordered the flourless chocolate cake for dessert and it tasted like fudge. Do not recommend it. Overall a solid place to eat

If you enjoy high quality seafood at fair prices, this is your lunch spot! We ordered the lobster quiche and lobster roll from the lunch specials. Both were made with large lobster claw chunks not the little ground up pieces we expected. Fantastic! They do homemade tartar sauce, homemade remoulade, and homemade hot sauce. Delicious food, friendly staff and a quiet atmosphere made this a perfect lunch spot.

I made a reservation for 4 people on a Saturday night for dinner at Mallard's - Inver Grove Heights. In retrospect, this reservation was not necessary as the restaurant was not overly busy the entire time we were dining at Mallard's. The restaurant was located in a strip mall and offered plenty of parking. We were seated at a booth and the menu offered lots of differing seafood options. The environment of Mallard's fit the theme of a lowkey seafood restaurant that offered old food and reasonable prices. We chose to start our meal with the lobster queso and the popcorn shrimp. The popcorn shrimp was good but WOW the lobster queso was delicious...how could it be bad. Our waitress was attentive for our table and got us everything we needed in a timely fashion. I chose to get the lobster role & my partner chose to get the patty melt. The lobster roll was tasty and rich. It even came with melted butter to dip the lobster roll in! My partner enjoyed the patty melt but was looking for a little more substance, it was a unique twist to your average patty melt. I look forward to visiting Mallards again as I feel it is a good seafood option with reasonable prices, not far from the Twin Cities.
